Watson Hall is one of 6 buildings that Yamasaki & Associates contributed to Carleton’s campus between 1958-1966. This seven-story student dormitory is functional and minimal in its design. A heavy roof caps the tower with an overhang on all four sides. A Jo Ryo En Japanese Garden was added to Watson Hall’s exterior landscape and dedicated in 1976.
