Docomomo US/MN is excited to return in-person this year for Fall Tour Day!  October 8, 2022; 12:30pm – 3:30pm.

Join Docomomo US/MN as we explore midcentury homes in the Twin Cities metro; featuring houses designed by renowned MN architects and builders: Close Associates, Michael McGuire, Joe Michels, and Richard Lundgren.

This year, Docomomo US/MN invites you to see five modernist homes across three neighborhoods: Normandale Park in Edina; Highland Park in St, Paul; and University Grove in Falcon Heights.

This is a self-guided tour; transportation is on your own – or with a buddy or two! Tour locations are below. You may begin the tour at any of the open houses.

All tour homes open from 12:30pm – 3:30pm. Reception* open until 4:15pm

Wristbands are required for entry – at the first house on your stop, please present an electronic or printed copy of your Eventbrite ticket to receive your wristband.

Wristbands will be available for purchase on the day of the event – cash or check only. No change provided. The only credit card purchase option is through Eventbrite.

Please note, all attendees are required to remove shoes or use provided shoe covers to enter the houses – plan your footwear accordingly (no bare feet!).

Photography may be restricted in some locations. On-street parking is available for all tour houses, though some walking and stair climbing will be required to access the properties.

Please contact us at docomomo.us.mn@gmail.com with accessibility questions.
